    Protection and control

    B30 busbar differential protection system is a kind of applicable to single busbar scheme of busbar protection system, the protection system can be configured for six most circuits, it can provide high security, low impedance busbar protection, movement time less than a cycle. B30 can also be used for typical high impedance schemes. Using B30 does not require special or assisted CT, so the total cost of the system can be reduced.

    Other advanced features of B30 include circuit breaker failure protection, CT fault monitoring, under-voltage monitoring and dynamic bus profiling. Because of its unique flexibility (the maximum allowable level of CT variation in the terminal is 32:1), B30 is the ideal solution for different bus differential protection schemes. To enhance the security in important protection applications, B30 can be equipped with optional redundant dual power.

    Bus protection

    B30 can be used to protect the basic configuration system of single bus for up to 6 loops. B30 bus protection system is an exquisite design of busbar protection relay. Compared with traditional bus protection relay, B30 is smaller. The modular structure of B30 enables its functional configuration to increase and decrease according to the application requirements, so B30 can meet the requirements of various applications. For example, using multiple B30 can provide protection for larger busbar systems, in which each B30 is responsible for the protection of a segment of the bus, with up to six inputs.

    B30 has braking and no braking (instantaneous) differential protection to make it more secure. The principle of differential and current direction is used to protect the brake bus. In order to ensure the stability of busbar protection and the speed of the bus protection during the occurrence of the break-through fault, the maximum of the input current of the braking current is given. The principle of current direction is to detect the relationship between the current and the current. B30 can achieve an average of less than one cycle per week (0.75 cycles).

    CT saturation detection

    Dynamic bus profiling

    B30 can complete dynamic copying. The built-in programmable logic is used to remove the need for auxiliary relays, and the built-in programmable logic can also dynamically include current or removal of current in the differential zone. This allows the B30 protection configuration to be consistent with the actual bus configuration without the external switching of the CT loop.
